ITENERARY:
Day 1: Nairobi - Samburu
After breakfast, leave Nairobi for Samburu National park. We pass through the Pineapples, coffee and Tea plantations. Arrive in time for lunch and after proceed for a game drive of Samburu, which known for its herds of elephants. Dinner and overnight at Camp.
Day 2: Samburu
Game drives that will take you to Samburu, and Buffalo Springs National Reserves, straddles the muddy Ewaso Nyiro river and is one of the most picturesque parks of northern Kenya. Clusters of dorm palms, riverine tress. The reserves have a number of wildlife species not usually found in the southern game parks, including Beisa Oryx, Gerenuk, Reticulated Giraffes, Grevy Zebra, Somali Ostrich, Vulture guinea fowl and hundreds of Elephants. With an option of visiting the Samburu tribe in the evening (Optional). The Samburu are a Nilotic people of north-central Kenya that are related to but distinct from the Maasai. The Samburu are semi-nomadic pastoralists who herd cattle mainly cattle but also goats, sheep and camels. Dinner and overnight at Camp.
Day 3: Samburu - Lake Nakuru
Leave Samburu for Lake Nakuru via the Thompson falls arriving in time for lunch in Nakuru, Lake Nakuru is famous for the Flamingoes (Greater and Lesser) and other water birds including a variety of terrestrial birds. It has a wide range of mammals including the rhinos; it has unique vegetation with different plant species including the biggest euphorbia forest in Africa, and the yellow acacia woodlands. Dinner and overnight at Camp.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru - Masai Mara
Early morning depart Lake Nakuru national park for Masai Mara via Narok town for lunch arriving in Mara in time for introduction game drive .dinner and overnight at Camp.
Day 5: Masai Mara
Early morning breakfast and with basket lunch, a full day spent at the Masai Mara game reserve, across the plains in search of the big cats (black manned lions, Cheetahs and leopards with picnic lunch served at the Mara River site. Vast herds of wildebeest and zebra wander across the Mara grasslands in huge numbers during this period of the annual migrations take place, when millions of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle traverse the Mara plains landscape to feed on the rich new grass from the Serengeti. You also have a chance to see other plain game like the Topi, hartebeest, Eland. All meals and overnight at Camp.
Day 6: Masai Mara - Lake Naivasha
Early pre-breakfast game drive it will be your last game drive in Mara before departing for Lake Naivasha arriving late afternoon, or in time for 1 hour boat ride at an extra cost.
Day 7: Lake Naivasha - Nairobi
Proceed for game viewing at hells gate national park the only park you can do walking or bicycle ride safari, Lake Naivasha is a beautiful freshwater lake, fringed by thick papyrus with Hippos relaxing in the lake and Buffalos grazing on the shores. Bid watching includes Grey-capped Warbler, Spectacled Weaver, Brimstone Canary, Red-billed fire finch and 350 other species. Depart for Nairobi After lunch arriving late afternoon drop of at Airport or your hotel.
