ITENERARY:
Amboseli is one of Kenya's most famous national parks. ... Amboseli is a Mara language word that means 'salty dust'. The park is 390 square kilometers (150square miles) at the core of an 8000square kilometers (3000square mile) ecosystem that spreads across the Kenya-Tanzania border.The park has an endless supply of water which is filtered through thousands of meters of volcanic rock from mount Kilimanjaro. Vast herds of elephant, zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, impala and leopards are the main attraction. Mount Kilimanjaro forms the backdrop of this game sanctuary. Day 1: Nairobi - Amboseli
Early in the morning after breakfast we depart Nairobi and proceed to Amboseli National Park We arrive in time for lunch at lodge or camp followed by afternoon game drive and on a clear day you will be able to see Mt Kilimanjaro, for dinner and overnight stay at Amboseli Sopa lodge.
Day 2: Amboseli Full Day Game Drive
Morning game drives over the park's dusty roads, you're likely to spot wildebeest, giraffes, Gazelles, Impala and zebra attracted to the marshes and swamps fed by the melting snows of Kilimanjaro. You may also spot lions on the fringes of the marshes as well as a great variety of bird-life (some 425 species of bird populate the park). With Kilimanjaro providing a dramatic backdrop, your photographs will be stunning with Elephants, which makes Amboseli popular as there in hundreds. Dinner and Overnight at Amboseli Sopa lodge.
Day 3: Amboseli - Nairobi
Early morning game drive and come for breakfast later depart for Nairobi arriving late afternoon drop of at your hotel or airport
